Business Credit Cards - Choosing the Best Card for Your Business

There are a lot of credit card choices out there, whether for business or personal use. Choosing a business credit card is an important decision because there are many factors and features to consider. You may not just want to take the credit card that your bank offers you when you open a business checking or savings account. These cards often don’t have the benefits that other cards do. For instance, many cards will offer businesses significant rewards programs. Some of these are even better than the rewards offered on personal cards. Considering everything you use a business credit card for, a rewards card may offer significant savings to you.

There are also cash back programs for businesses. When you are just beginning your business, a cash back program may offer you that bit of extra cash to help with your day to day expenses.

Monday Madness for Valentine's Day

Thank you all for playing Monday Madness. With Valentine's Day coming up this week, I thought I'd use questions offered by one of our very faithful MM players, rach. Thank you, Rach! Look for YOUR questions to be used in the future! Have a great week, everyone! =)

1. How do you celebrate Valentine's Day?
We are not very big on Valentine's Day, we try to celebrate our relationship all year long. We do get each other a card and occasionally a gift. We usually give our boys a little something extra just to remind them that we love them.

2. Name a special gift you received during Valentine's Day.
A pendant heart necklace from my kids.

3. Define Love using each letter: L.O.V.E.

Living life to the fullest together
Obstacles bring us closer
Value one another
Express your affection on a daily basis

Have a lovely week everyone!

Getting Organized - Cleaning Closets

This is where we will be posting some of our blog entires for now for our Find More Facts About Organizing Blog until either Google fixes their new system or we find another blog host. For now here are our current posts. Enjoy!

Well, we have been working on cleaning out all of our closets. It is a big project, but we are taking it one closet (and sometimes one-half of a closet) at a time. We have been pulling everything out, sorting out the items to keep, what to pitch, and what to donate. We have been able to come up with a large size donate pile and have pared things down quite a bit. It feels good!

We are starting to get more organized as well. We used to have a big shopping bag filled with all those packets of pictures that we had developed. Now they have a new organized home in a rolling plastic container like this one from Organize.com:

30-Quart Clear Storage Boxes with Wheels - Set of 2 by Iris®

30-Quart Clear Storage Boxes with Wheels - Set of 2 by IrisĀ®
The 30-Quart Clear Storage Boxes with Wheels by Iris® are resilient and provide ample storage space for your household supplies. This jumbo sized box can store heavy and large items because of its unique modular shape and size. This box comes equipped with sturdy wheel for easy portability. The clear design allows you to view the contents of these boxes for easy identification of the contents. Durable snap down buckles secure the lid and ensure that your items will remain safe. Features: Thick plastic body for extra stability Clear design for easy identification of contents Modular shape and size for more storage potential Secure wing lid Stackable Size: 12 3/4"tall x 17 3/4"wide x 12 1/4"deep

It’s great because when I want to work with the pictures –someday – I can just wheel the box out and get to work. Then it is easy to store them again when I am done. Perfect! I can think of a lot of things I will be using these boxes for.
We also started organizing the boys’ closets (yikes!) and their personal memorabilia. We bought a couple of storage boxes like the one shown below to place all of their special papers, awards, keepsake clothing, etc in. The clear plastic is great for all of these boxes because you always know what the content is. We also have one box for each child so that when it’s time for them to take their special things with them, they are already all together in one place. Really useful!
